Beginners Getaway Weekend Retreat

Creating Space Within

Fri 26th - Sun 28th September 2025

In our frantic world it seems there is very little time to pause, catch our breath and re-energise; this is where meditation can transform our life, regardless of how busy we are.

On this weekend there is lots of time to wind down, relax and enjoy hearing about, and practising, Buddha's special meditations for busy people. Everyone, Buddhist or non Buddhist can benefit deeply from this course.

Beginners Weekend Meditation Retreat

Meditate! Meditate! Meditate!

Fri 10th - Sun 12th October 2025

If our mind is not peaceful, we will never be happy, even if our material conditions are perfect. For example, when we are enjoying ourself with our friends at a party, if we become angry for some reason, the moment we get angry our happiness disappears. This is because anger has destroyed our inner peace, our mental peace. Without inner peace there is no real happiness at all.

So, on this weekend we will find our own inner peace through being guided in simple meditation practices and in this way establish good habits to take into our busy daily lives. Everybody is welcome to join.

Beginners Meditation One-Day Retreat

Like a Cloudless Sky

Sunday 9th November 2025

Meditation has many benefits: it overcomes inner problems such as those created by anger, jealousy, pride, and uncontrolled desires; it controls our mind and brings inner peace; it enables us to cultivate positive intentions that lead us to perform good actions; and it prevents negative intentions that lead us to do or say harmful things.

On this short one-day retreat we can find our inner peace and learn the methods to maintain a peaceful life. Everybody is welcome!
