Tuesday Evening Meditation Classes

7:30 - 9:00pm with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

Tuesday Evening General Programme Class

At the heart of modern Kadampa Buddhism are three special study and meditation programmes designed by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. These programmes help us to develop our wisdom, cultivate a good heart and maintain a peaceful state of mind, free from anxiety and unhappiness.

  • The General Programme
  • The Foundation Programme
  • The Teacher Training Programme

The General Programme offers a wide range of events suitable for everyone, offering practical teachings and guided meditations that can be integrated easily into our busy daily lives. From weekly classes to half-day courses, meditation retreats to special events such as public talks or Tantric empowerments, there is something for everyone!

These classes are part of the General Programme and focus on applying Buddha's teachings to help us solve our daily problems and find the lasting happiness we seek. These classes cover a variety of topics and generally consist of a teaching and two guided meditations. Although taught as a series, each class is self-contained and can be attended individually.

After class there is the opportunity to meet Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre community over a cup of tea and delicious treats, as well as the chance to meet and talk with our Resident Teacher, Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab.

Everybody is welcome!
