Tara IKRC Booking Terms & Conditions

General Booking Info

  • During your visit to Tara IKRC you are requested to please refrain from eating meat, smoking (incl. electronic cigarettes), taking intoxicants and drinking alcohol in any building and in the grounds.
  • All bookings carry a 25% non-refundable and non-transferable fee. 
  • Any open balances must be paid minimum 24 hours before arrival or start of the event. Payment by cash or card upon arrival must be pre-agreed with reception via email.
  • Pets –  We are unable to accepts pets except guide or other assistance dogs.
  • Camping, caravans, campervans and mobile homes are not accepted outside of specific on site as we do not have a license

Bookings with Accommodation

  • Residential course or retreat bookings include accommodation, meals & education fee.
  • Meals are vegan or vegetarian only, we regret we are unable to cater for any other individual dietary need.
  • Bookings for accommodation must be done 24hrs in advance of attending a course or retreat.
  • Tara Class pass paying members discount applies to the education fee only and does not include meals or accommodation.
  • If our retreat is one week or more we only offer a booking period of one week blocks, this is to ensure the best conditions for everybody’s retreat.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a booking or ask anyone found to cause disruption to leave.

Bookings with no Accommodation

  • Tea and coffee facilities are available in dining room but not the use of a kitchen.
  • Camping, caravans, campervans and mobile homes are not accepted on site as we do not have a license, unless otherwise specified.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation of a booking must be made in writing (not by phone or Messenger Apps) to info@tarakmc.org
  • All deposits are non-refundable and all bookings carry a 25% non-refundable and non-transferable fee. 
  • Cancellations more than 2 weeks before the event will be fully refunded minus non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations 1 week before the event will be refunded 50% minus non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellations less than 3 days before the event are non-refundable and non-transferable.

    Booking policy implementation is at the discretion of the Administrative Director
