The Source of Lasting Happiness | Sat 14 Nov | 10am-4pm

Day Course with Mark Manning

We all long for lasting happiness, yet despite our best efforts, genuine peace and fulfilment can often seem just out of reach. Buddha taught that as long as we seek happiness solely through external conditions or self-concern, we will continue to experience dissatisfaction and frustration.

In this day course, we will explore how lasting happiness naturally arises when we learn to develop a good heart and cherish others.

Through guided meditations and practical Buddhist teachings, we will discover:

  • Why lasting happiness cannot be found in external circumstances alone
  • How creating peace and happiness within our own mind brings greater meaning, confidence and joy to our life
  • How developing a good heart naturally reduces everyday problems such as anger, anxiety and loneliness
  • Practical methods for cherishing others and developing a warm, caring heart that becomes a lasting source of happiness for both ourselves and those around us

By training in these timeless methods, we can gradually let go of unhelpful habits and discover a deeper sense of peace, purpose and connection in our daily life.

Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike. No previous meditation experience is necessary. Everybody is welcome.
