Five Stages to Freedom

How to Permanently Remove Anger from Your Life

Tuesday Evening Meditation Class

Time: Tuesdays 7:30-9:00 pm
Venue:
Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre, Ashe Hall, Ash Lane, Etwall, Derby, DE65 6HT
Teacher: Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

In our daily life we often experience disappointment, resentment and anger which destroy our happiness. We feel trapped in all situations because we have little or no power to control our negative reactions to inevitable difficult situations. When we put effort into controlling our anger we experience mental freedom.

If you wish to follow the teachings by reading, you can find these instructions in the book How to Solve Our Human Problems by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

6 Oct: Learning Not to Retaliate

We have an instinctive desire to retaliate whenever we are harmed and this always leads to further problems for both ourselves and others. When we learn to use compassion combined with patient acceptance, we become free from the tyranny of anger.

Meditation: Determination not to retaliate to the harm we receive

Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required. Head to our What to Expect page for practical info about visiting us for a class.
