Affectionate Love | Tues 18 Aug 7:30pm

The Three Aspects of Love

How to Make All Relationships Succeed

Tuesday Evening Meditation Class

Time: Tuesdays 7:30-9:00 pm
Venue:
Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre, Ashe Hall, Ash Lane, Etwall, Derby, DE65 6HT
Teacher: Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

All our inner problems arise from our deep self-centered attitude, called self-cherishing. When we put effort into developing real love, we find the power of this attitude is reduced and with it our problems become fewer. Life is more pleasant.

If you wish to follow the teachings by reading, you can find these instructions in the book The New Eight Steps to Happiness by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

18 Aug: Affectionate Love

Love is the great protector. It prevents us from unhappy feelings and solves all our inner problems. Affection is the simplest, easiest form of love to develop and maintain in daily life.

Meditation: Affectionate Love

Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required. Head to our What to Expect page for practical info about visiting us for a class.
