Outer Problems versus Inner Problems | Tues 17 Nov 7:30pm

Letting Go of Stress and Anxiety

Tuesday Evening Meditation Class

Time: Tuesdays 7:30-9:00 pm
Venue:
Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre, Ashe Hall, Ash Lane, Etwall, Derby, DE65 6HT
Teacher: Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

Overthinking, worry, depression, feelings of isolation, loneliness and confusion arise only from our own uncontrolled mind. Catastrophizing at 3am unable to sleep with our mind racing finally leads to mental illness and breakdown. Learning the basics of powerful meditation techniques gives us control over our life and leads to freedom from problems.

If you wish to follow the teachings by reading, you can find these instructions in the book How to Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.

17 Nov: Outer Problems versus Inner Problems

When things go wrong in our life and we experience difficult situations we usually blame the situations themselves as our problem but in reality whatever problems we experience come from the side of the mind.

Meditation: Distinguishing outer problems from inner problems

Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required. Head to our What to Expect page for practical info about visiting us for a class.
