Make Your own Mala | Sunday 29th March | 10am-1pm

Half-Day Course
with Ling Brandwood

Mala, a rosary used to count recitations of prayers or mantras, is a very precious ritual object. It contains one hundred and eight beads.

In this workshop, you will learn how to make a mala (or repair an old one) with an adjustable sliding knot.

Please make sure you bring some tools with you!

Essential Tools:
- Beads of choice, typically 6mm or 8mm (about 110 beads)
- Stringing material (suggest satin nylon cord and make sure it fits the bead hole)
- A pair of Tweezers
- A Lighter
- A pair of Scissors

Optional Tools (highly recommended):
- Bead design board or bead mat - so your beads do not roll everywhere
