Where Happiness Can Be Found

We all want lasting happiness, but life's challenges often leave us feeling stressed, overwhelmed or dissatisfied. This makes lasting happiness appear elusive and out of reach, and yet Buddha's teachings reveal that real happiness cannot be found in external conditions but only within our own mind, through developing inner peace.

In this five-week series, learn practical methods to develop and maintain a peaceful mind, even in the midst of a busy modern life. Through guided meditations and practical advice, discover how to experience greater inner peace and a pure form of happiness that comes from within.

“If our mind is peaceful, we will be happy all the time, regardless of external conditions, but if it is disturbed or troubled in any way, we will never be happy, no matter how good our external conditions may be.”

9 Sept: Mental Peace in a Distracted World

How to Begin Your Meditation Practice

De-clutter your mind by letting go of scattered thoughts, distractions and negativity through simple meditations that are easy to integrate into daily life. As your mind becomes calmer and more spacious, you'll discover a greater sense of peace and contentment and find that many of your usual problems begin to fall away.

Everybody welcome. No previous meditation experience is necessary.

Each class consists of a short talk, guided meditations and discussion. The classes are self-contained, so you can attend any individual session or the full series.

Head to our What to Expect page for practical info about visiting us for a class.
