Beginners Getaway Weekend Retreat

In our frantic world it seems there is very little time to pause, catch our breath and re-energise; this is where meditation can transform our life, regardless of how busy we are. We can reduce stress and avoid burn out by learning to be skilful with ourselves; by learning to pace our busyness, regularly giving a little of our precious time to meditation we will create space within to nourish and support our chosen lifestyle.

On this weekend there is lots of time to wind down, relax and enjoy hearing about, and practising, Buddha's special meditations for busy people. Everyone, Buddhist or non Buddhist can benefit deeply from this course.

4.30pm-5.30pm Meditation
6:00pm Supper in the Dinning Room
7:30 - 9:00pm Wishfulfilling Jewel prayers with food offerings (optional)

Sunday
9.00am-10.00am Meditation
11.00am-12.30pm Teaching
1:00pm Lunch in the Dining Room

Accommodation

Accommodation options include twin rooms with en-suite, single rooms with en-suite, single room with kitchenette and bathroom, single rooms with toilet, single rooms and dormitory rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Linen and towels are provided in all rooms. Tea making facilities and guests toiletries are provided in all single and twin rooms. 

Meals
Please select meals separately from the drop down options. We can cater for vegetarian and vegan meals only. The meal option includes three meals a day, starting with supper on the first evening and finishing with lunch on the last day.
