28 Oct: What Steals Our Peace?
Recognising the Thoughts that Disturb our Happiness

Why is it so difficult to stay peaceful and happy? Buddha explained that some states of mind bring us peace and happiness, while others disturb our inner peace and leave us feeling unhappy. Like a distorted mirror, these negative states of mind distort the way we see ourselves, others and the world. Discover how learning to recognise beneficial and non-beneficial states of mind is the first step towards a more peaceful and happy life.

Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required. This is an ongoing weekly class held throughout the year.

Head to our What to Expect page for practical info about visiting us for a class.

About the Teacher: Gabrielle Marier-Desroches is a qualified Teacher who is currently studying on the Teacher Training Programme at Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre under the guidance of Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab. She has been studying and practising Buddha's teachings for about 10 years, integrating them into her everyday life. Her practical experience brings a warm and relatable approach to sharing Buddha’s timeless wisdom with others.
