25 Nov: What Is the Mind?
Discovering the Nature and Power of the Mind

Our happiness, suffering and entire experience of life depend upon our mind — yet how well do we really understand it? Buddha explained that the mind is not the brain or something physical, but a formless continuum whose nature is clarity and whose function is to perceive and understand objects. Discover the nature and power of your mind and why understanding it opens the door to profound inner change, and a different view of the world.

Each class is self-contained, so you are welcome to join at any time. No previous experience is required. This is an ongoing weekly class held throughout the year.

Head to our What to Expect page for practical info about visiting us for a class.

About the Teacher: Gabrielle Marier-Desroches is a qualified Teacher who is currently studying on the Teacher Training Programme at Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre under the guidance of Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab. She has been studying and practising Buddha's teachings for about 10 years, integrating them into her everyday life.
