Leave behind the stress and busyness of daily life and discover the peace and happiness that comes from a calm mind. Join us for an uplifting guided meditation and practical teaching with an experienced meditation Teacher. Learn simple methods to let go of worry, reduce stress and develop a lasting sense of inner peace that you can carry into everyday life.

Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning to see old friends, you'll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere. No previous meditation experience is needed. Everyone is welcome!

About the Teacher: Kelsang Sama is a Buddhist nun within the New Kadampa Tradition. She is an inspiring Teacher who is loved for her clear and insightful teachings and her ability to communicate profound Dharma in an accessible, practical way.

Enjoy a tasty, home-cooked 3-course Italian meal at Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre.

Vegan and gluten-free options available.

Because A Taste of Peace is a special set menu, we are unable to cater for special dietary requirements.  If you are unsure whether the meal will be suitable for you, please contact reception to enquire before making a booking.

Why not make it a weekend away?

If you would like to stay over and attend our Saturday and Sunday events, just let us know by emailing info@tarakmc.org - Breakfast is available and we have comfortable and clean simple or en-suite rooms for you to enjoy a peaceful night.

What a gorgeous and peaceful place - the new meditation room is cosy in all weathers and a lovely place to meditate and listen to profound wisdom teachings. The cafe is full of welcoming volunteers and has really tasty coffee!! The grounds are full of beautiful trees too - not to be missed. 💛
