The Power of Meditation | Sun 23 Aug | 10am-1pm

Half-Day Retreat with Donna Cooper

Take time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the extraordinary opportunity of your life. Discover how to create a peaceful mind and a happier life.

In this course, you will learn the essential principles and practices of meditation as taught in the New Kadampa Tradition by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Meditation is a simple yet powerful method to calm the mind, reduce stress, and develop positive states such as clarity, compassion, and inner strength. Rather than trying to control external circumstances, we learn how to work with our own mind — the real source of both our happiness and our problems.

Through regular practice, we can let go of distractions and negativity, and gradually experience a deeper, more stable peace from within. With clear guidance and practical meditations, this course is suitable for everyone, whether new to meditation or looking to deepen their experience. Come and discover the transformative power of meditation for yourself!

Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike. No previous meditation experience is necessary. Everybody is welcome.
