Quiet Mind

Sat 14th March 2026 | 10:00am - 5:00pm
Silent Retreat with Edward Degg

This Silent Day Retreat offers a precious opportunity to step back from distractions and reconnect with our own inner calm. Through short teachings inspired by the Buddha’s wisdom and guided meditations, we will learn practical methods for calming the mind, letting go of unhelpful thoughts, and experiencing a deep sense of inner peace.

The day offers space for quiet reflection, creating a supportive environment for meditation and inner stillness. Spending time in silence, as much as we feel comfortable, allows the mind to settle naturally and helps us develop mindfulness, clarity, and emotional balance.

The retreat is suitable for everyone, whether we are new to meditation or have an established practice. Each session includes gentle guidance, time for meditation, and space to rest in stillness. There is nothing to achieve — simply the opportunity to experience the peace that is already within us.

By the end of the day, we will leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and inspired, with simple tools we can take into daily life to maintain a quiet and peaceful mind.

  • Seating is available on chairs, and floor cushions are also provided.
