How to Come to Terms with Our Death and Enjoy a Meaningful Life with Gen Kelsang Chökyong

A special retreat discovering true happiness through realising impermanence

Friday 24th - 29th  April 2026
at Tara International Kadampa Retreat Centre, Ashe Hall, Ash Lane, Etwall DE65 6HT

Most of our human problems, our stress and anxiety, come from our denying the reality of our fragile and impermanent nature. Instead of acknowledging the truth of our temporary existence we cling to false notions of potential immortality and this only serves to makes us anxious. Consequently, in our state of nervousness, we hardly ever experience the deep happiness that we long for; what we need, therefore, is a total mental reset through practising the countless radical life hacks coming from Buddha’s heart.

On this special retreat we will learn how to align ourselves with our actual situation in life and break through to a rich and rewarding future filled with great meaning. Gen Kelsang Chökyong will guide us in meditations drawn from Buddha’s Lamrim teachings which enable us to discover our potential for infinite personal development.

Everybody is welcome, no previous experience required, suitable for everyone.
