Spring–Summer Course Series

Part Two: Living Without Anger

May 6 – May 13

  • May 6How to Be Truly Patient

  • May 13How Not to Retaliate

Anger can arise quickly and leave us feeling unsettled, often harming both ourselves and others. In this short course, you will learn practical methods to develop patience, remain calm in difficult situations, and respond with greater understanding and strength.

Part Three: Overcoming Uncontrolled Desire

June 10 – July 15

Sometimes we find it hard to feel satisfied. Even when things are going well, our mind can still feel restless or wanting more. This is due to uncontrolled desire, which quietly disturbs our peace of mind.

In this course, we will gently explore how desire arises and learn simple, practical methods to let go of restless, dissatisfied feelings. Through guided meditations and clear explanations, you will discover how to develop a more contented and peaceful mind.

By learning to reduce uncontrolled desire, we naturally begin to experience greater happiness, inner balance, and a sense of ease in our daily life.

“By controlling our desire we can make ourselves happy all the time. This is because uncontrolled desire is the source of all suffering and problems.”
— Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
