Buddha taught that if we develop wisdom, everything that arises in our life can teach us something beneficial and help us improve our mind and our good qualities.
Through using our day to day difficulties as a special training, we can develop inner strength, confidence and joy. Eventually we can maintain a healthy, flexible mind that is happy whatever happens.
In these classes we are guided through meditation to calm our mind, receive a teaching on a buddhist subject, engage in some simple prayers (booklets are provided if you wish to follow along) 
You can sit on a chair or on the meditation cushions provided
Tea and biscuits are provided after the class with an opportunity to discuss and ask questions with practitioners and other attendees if you wish to do so.
