with Gen Kelsang Rabten, National Spiritual Director of Australia and Resident teacher at KMC Leeds in the UK.
Following on from the International Spring Festival with Gen-la Dekyong at Manjushri KMC, we offer a full week of Refuge Retreat with Gen Kelsang Rabten. Gen Rabten exemplifies the essence of modern Kadampa way of life, and he brings a warm heart and joyful attitude to sharing Buddha's teachings and the practice of meditation. The practice of refuge is how Buddhists protect themselves from suffering, now and in the future. With deep experience of this practice, we stop worrying and embrace a rich and meaningful spiritual life.
Ordained in 1994, Gen Rabten studied under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 27 years. He has taught in many centres around the world including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
